How many mounting clips do I need when hanging the rails?
Whether you order an ArtiTeq, Stas or Newly rail system, you always need a tool to be able to hang or mount it. In addition, the so-called mounting / mounting clips and screws are shown. Each brand has its own clips, on which the rails can be mounted and simply clicked. Generally speaking, you have to take into account 6 clips per 2 meter rail. However, we do not recommend spacing more than 40 cm.
One clip is not the other yet. There are wall and ceiling clips, made of plastic and metal. Newly and ArtiTeq provide mounting clips that also function as a rail connector. Do you have a somewhat bumpy wall? ArtiTeq also has a solution for this via the Click and Connect 3-ring system, so that the rail does not have to follow the lines of the wall during assembly.
Make it easy on yourself by ordering a drilling template for Newly and Stas. The Clips from Artiteq also determine the distance from the ceiling. This means that the drill holes are always at the correct distance from the ceiling.
