Designed to present tempered glass panels by gripping the top edge of the panel through a through hole. With these Top Clamps you can also hang all kinds of materials quickly, but above all safely.
However, Top Clamps are not limited to glass panels as all kinds of materials such as Plexiglas, DiBond, Acrylic, Plywood or wood can be presented in the same professional way.
A cable, supported from above by e.g. a suspension rail, is inserted into the cable hole at the top of the Top Clamp. This cable is then clamped in the desired position by the internal self-locking system. Any excess wire may and can now be cut off.
A tempered glass panel is then brought to the clamping side of the Top Clamp. The clamp has a set screw that must be screwed through the panel. The design of this self-locking system is thus optimized for the vertical hanging of flat art panels and pictures.
It is also possible to connect a few more Top Clamps to a second set of holes on the underside of the relevant panel. Cables from these lower clamps can then continue to a lower fixed point and keep the whole assembly under tension. This would be achieved by using our fixed self-brakes or classic ceiling rails and cable tensioners.
The classic ceiling track would be inverted to be used in a lower or floor position. In this way a room divider can be made quite easily. Both sides of the panels can be finished and display material can be equally effective on both surfaces. Likewise, there could be a second panel below the top panel and both could be held in tension by a pair of cables.
This Top Clamp is compatible with panels of almost any substrate up to 10 mm thick.
